About the event
The Pistol Level 1 course is designed to teach you the basic fundumentals of safe handgun operation. Students will have the opportinity to practice learned skills with their own firearm (or a rental) in a safe, welcoming environment.
Students will learn the basic components of a firearm, proper stance, sight allignment and picture, breathing, trigger control, and follow-through. Students will practice skills in a static-line environment with paper targets.
If you do not yet own your own handgun we will have pistols available for rent on the day of the event. Our website host does not allow us to make gun related transactions. If you wish to rent a pistol the day of the event, the cost is an additional $15 and includes the use of a BGOA provided pistol.
