Long Range Rifle Day Apr. 2022

This is your opportunity to see how far you can shoot with your rifle!  BGOA has partnered with a private long distance range in Hollister to give our members an opportunity to test their long distance abilities. 

There will be shooting benches and an area to shoot in prone postion if you choose.  A rifle with a magnified scope is prefered but not required.  If you only have a red dot or iron sights on your rifle you can still shoot at this event.   Hitting 300 yards with just a red dot is completely doable.  

Required gear is a rifle (semi-auto or bolt action)and  50-100 rounds of ammo.  If you have a bipod, shooting pad, rest bags, binoculars, spotting scope, or other long distance gear bring that as well.  

Cost for this event is $60 per person and includes four hours of shooting time.  Because this is a private range, by invite only, the exact address will be emailed at the time tickets are purchased.  

It is recommended that your rifle be zeroed to 100 yards.  If you need help with zeroing your rifle, there will people there to help with that and to provide tips for hitting tangets at long distance.
